Our Foundation Hollands
Below are some of the rabbits that no longer reside with us or have crossed the rainbow bridge, but have helped make our Holland lop herd what it is today. We love these buns!
Bucks
SPH's Squish
Sire: Lund Lop's Powerball - Broken Tort
Dam: GC eligible SPH's Remy - Tort Variety: Tort Legs: 1 19th of 86 Solid Junior Bucks, 2019 ARBA National Convention Squish was a spirited little guy with nice type and a beautiful head. He did end up growing into those ears, but I wasn't able to get pictures of him in his senior state before we lost him. He was seemingly fine one day, passed away in his cage the next morning. It was very distressing and bizarre. He held his own at the 2019 ARBA convention, placing in the top 20 in a class of over 80 junior bucks. I was fortunate enough to get several offspring before he passed. |
SPH's Phat Boy Slim
Sire: JASH's Colt - Tort
Dam: Critter Co*Op Paige - Broken Tort
Variety: Tort
Legs: 2
Phat Boy was a super cute little buck. I really loved this boy's type, depth and head. He was so short and compact, but could've use better mass to have been more competitive. He placed 17th at the 2017 Holland lop Nationals, and then 3rd the next day at West Coast Classic.
He unfortunately developed a neurological problem that effected his ability to move around without falling over. After several months of treatment and a steady decline in his ability to stand, the difficult decision was made to humanely euthanize him, as his quality life had dropped significantly. He wasn't a young rabbit either, developing this issue at almost 6 years of age.
Binky free, buddy.
Critter Co*Op's Cadbury
Sire: Lund Lop's Sugar Daddy - Tort Dam: C.C. Dakota Rose - Tort Variety: Tort Legs: 1 34th of 97 at the 2016 ARBA National Convention Cadbury was a beautiful buck with a deep body and massive head. Nice bone quality and wonderful width and mass. Nice thick shoulders, and overall a very nice buck with a sweet, spunky personality. Beautiful blend of Lund and Critter Co*Op lines, which is my main herd base. Chris Zemny was so sweet to allow this stunning boy to go to me when I was a fledgling Holland breeder with only 2 years in the hobby. He really made an impact on my herd, as did all of the rabbits I got from her. |
DTL's Teddy Graham
Sire: DTL's Macaroni- Tort
Dam: Critter Co*Op C488 - Tort
Variety: Tort
Legs: 12
BOB winner
BOSB winner
#8 Solid Senior Buck 2017 Holland Lop Nationals
#16 Solid Senior Buck 2017 ARBA Convention
Teddy was such a handsome buck with excellent type and mass. He was a stellar producer and passed away of old age after a life of ladies and luxury. He is in nearly all of my best rabbit's pedigrees. I really miss his sweet, spunky personality and that fat head squished against his door, begging for head rubs.
DTL's Cecile
Sire: GC DTL's Dark Nose - Broken Tort - Youth Top Lop '18, '19, BOB ARBA convention winner
Dam: DTL's Cayt - Tort
Variety: Tort
Legs: 2
Cecile is a handsome buck with excellent type and personality. He produced several nice offspring that have inherited his nice crown and head. We were sad to lose him after a bad bout of GI Stasis.
Dam: DTL's Cayt - Tort
Variety: Tort

Lil Bit Farm's Seth
Sire: GC LBF Sabotage - tort - 11 GC legs and BIS winner
Dam: LBF Karin - Tort
Variety: Tort
Legs: 2
Seth was another one of my main herd bucks for nearly 6 years. This handsome boy contributed so much to my herd including depth of chest, shortness of limb, excellent balance and a very sweet temperament. He's a lazy poser, but still does well on the table. He could use more mass overall, more bone mass as well as a better placement of crown. He is still one of the most impressive hollands when it comes to balance and depth however, and he has made a huge impact on my herd. at 4 years of age he placed 13th of 80+ SSB at the 2017 Holland lop Nationals. We lost him in 2020, at nearly 8 years of age.
BIS producer!
GC Lund Lop's Selleck

He's a mix of Critter Co*Op and Lund lines which is my main herd base. This boy has excellent mass and bone and is beautifully balanced and smooth. He has already proven himself to be a very qualified show bunny at his first show, competing against the breeder's of 2015 ARBA holland lop national best of breed and best opposite sex of breed. My most competitive rabbits go back to him. |
GC RR Cyril
Sire: GC RR Archer - Tort - BIS winner Dam: RR Reba - Tort Variety: Tort Legs: 6 4 time Best of Breed winner 2 time Best Opposite of breed winner Loved this buck! He did so well on the show table. Very cute little buck. He shows well but lacks the mass to beat those bigger bucks. Some length through the shoulders as well, but one of the best VCs I've produced thus far. He was stolen from my rabbitry in April of 2016.

Does
Critter Co*Op Pavanne
Sire: GC CC Humphrey - Broken Tort - 5 GC leg
Dam: GC CC Keeley - Tort - 4 GC legs Variety: Tort Legs: Not shown Beautiful little show doe with tons of great traits that added so much to my herd. She was thick, short, had fantastic mass and bone, depth, nice crown and ear set and a natural, upright pose. I LOVED the curvature of her head. Pavanne was the oldest producing rabbit in the barn, producing her final litter at 7 years of age. She is a huge backbone to my program, producing GC SPH's Merlot, GC eligible SPH's Remy, GC eligible SPH's Delightful, GC eligible SPH's Fantasie and several grand offspring and great grand offspring. She can be found in the majority of my pedigrees. All the thanks in the world to Chris Zemny for sending me this herd changing doe. Binky free old girl. |
GC RR Strudel
Sire: Roehe's Rubicon - Tort
Dam: RR RR377 - Tort
Variety: Tort
Legs: 4
This gorgeous doe had a fantastic, smooth body and incredible mass. She has a beautiful, natural pose and a diva personality. Her head is smaller than I would like, but overall she is a wonderful doe that produced beautiful babies and one of my favorites, GC SPH's Fritter.
Strudel moved back to California after her original breeder lost her brother, a multiple BIS winner. Strudel's offspring, bred by her original breeder (Rachel Mastrangelo) after getting her back from me, produced the 2018 BOB Convention winner. Ironically, her granddaughter, a daughter of that convention winner, resides in my barn now.
GC SPH's Fritter
Sire: Lil' Bit Farm's Buster Brown - Tort
Dam: GC RR Strudel - Tort
Variety: Tort
Legs: 6
What a cute doe Fritter was! She was very sweet and laid back, a trait she passed on to her single batch of babies. We lost her too soon to an unfortunate bout of illness in 2017.
Critter Co*Op Paige
Sire: GC CC Humphrey - Broken Tort - 5 GC legs Dam: CC Truffles - Tort - 1 GC leg Variety: Tort Legs: Not Shown Beautiful doe with bone, mass, type and balance. I loved this doe and got several beauties from her, including SPH's Phat Boy Slim. Her father is the brother to the 2014 Best in Show rabbit at the 2014 national ARBA convention, and I'm absolutely thrilled to have her in my rabbitry. Thanks to Chris Zemny for another beautiful holland that contributed greatly. |
Critter Co*Op Georgina
Sire: GC CC Angus - Tort - 7 Legs
Dam: GC CC Mia - Tort - 5 Legs
Variety: Tort
Legs: Not Shown
This doe was a powerhouse producer. Among some of the best she's produced include SPH's Pedro, GC eligible SPH's Lucy and GC eligible SPH's Wren. There are definitely more!
Zinn's Reba
Sire: DG's Hilton -Tort
Dam: Zinn's Cassie
Variety: Tort
Legs: 2
Stunning doe that produced some of my favorite babies. Fantastic mother as well. It was a sad day when we lost this lovely doe.
Roehe's Carley
Sire: Roehe's Corey - Tort
Dam: Roehe's Aarti - Broken Tort
Variety: Broken Tort
Legs: 2
I adored Carley. She had a beautiful body that was smooth, rock hard and full to the table. Beautiful loin and bone and decent crown placement. I loved her mass through her midsection and her short, wide shoulders and chest. She produced my vienna carrying first grand champion, SPH's Poncho Villa.
SPH's Mustang Sally
Sire: JASH's Colt - Tort
Dam: SPH's Winnifred - Tort Variety: Tort Legs: 3 Sally was such a cute little doe that was lost after only one litter. She is, however, grandmother to my main BEW herd buck, Cotton. Cotton is the backbone of my BEW herd, so she has earned her spot on the foundation stock list. Oddly, her daughter, Cotton's mother was also lost after only one litter, and with completely different circumstances. |
SPH's Q-Tip
Sire: Wren's Hunter - Blue Eyed White
Dam: SPH's Mustang Sally - 3 legs Variety: Cream - VM Legs: Not Showable Q-Tip was one of the sweetest, best-natured does I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was a fantastic mother, and a beautifully typed, heady little doe. She mothered my main BEW herd buck, SPH's Cotton. Her first and only litter had 3 kits, Cotton and two other siblings. At around 6 weeks of age, Cotton's 2 siblings and Q-tip all were affected by a bad batch of feed that wiped out a third of my herd, (later the feed was tested by the mill and tested positive for rat poison) and I sadly lost Q-Tip and Cotton's siblings. Cotton miraculously made it after a lot of TLC and dropper feedings, and went on to become the most prolific BEW in my herd to date. |
Zinn's Aria
Sire: Roehe's Nero - Blue Eyed White - 1 leg
Dam: Roehe's Surfer - Blue Eyed White
Variety: Blue Eyed White
Legs: 1 - BOG 10-04-14
1/11 SSD at Chino Valley 10-12-14 under judge and long time holland lop breeder, Allan Ormond!
2/8 SJD at the Chino Valley 10-4-2013 holland lop specialty show under Judge Kevin Stanford
Beautiful BEW doe and the first BEW I got a leg with. She produced a best in show winning baby...... which was unfortunately a FUZZY holland shown as an American Fuzzy Lop.
SPH's Soba
Sire: GC Critter Co*Op Buckwheat - Black - 9 legs
Dam: SPH's Hell's Bells - BEW
Variety: Blue VM
Legs: Not Shown
Pretty girl with a very nice head and type. I like she shortness through the midsection, but she lacks in crown definition and placement. I do like her full hindquarters, solid body and balance. Anythng with "soba" "Yaki" or in the name are form my Soba line.
SPH's Yakisoba
Sire: TRK's Mystify - BEW
Dam: SPH's Soba
Variety: Blue eyed white
Legs: Not Shown
This doe produced several stellar offspring, including SPH's Soba-Boro, a Youth BIS winning holland and who sired SPH's Takoyaki.
She currently resides in Maryland at the Blue Sapphire Lops rabbitry with Maria Wilson.
SPH's Nightlight
Sire: SPH's Miniwheat - Black VC Dam: KMR's Elsa - BEW Variety: Orange - VC Legs: Not Shown Typey little doe with a laid back personality. Very easy to handle and work with and a natural poser. She has a gorgeous head, awesome depth and mass and nice, short bone. She produced my sweet Takoyaki, and was sent to California to help in the Blossom Hope's rabbitry BEW project. |
SPH's Braxton
Sire: SPH's Dexter - Tort - 1 leg
Dam: Zinn's Reba - Tort - 2 legs
Variety: Tort
Legs: Not Shown
Braxton is a super short, super cute little doe that is a great example of what a compact rabbit should look like. She has awesome width to depth balance and beautiful curvature to her scull. I do wish she had more mass overall and a better crown.
