Netherland Dwarf Bucks
Below are the current bucks residing in my rabbitry and contributing to my Lutino development. They are not for sale unless noted. We use mostly Chestnut, black and an occasional otter to improve the Lutino type, but we also occasionally breed non-lutino gene carriers to each other to remain competitive on the show table and to continue to improve our breeding stock.
Lutinos and Lutino Carriers
GMtC's/4CG's Jordan
Sire: 4CG's Felix - Shadow Lutino
Dam: 4CG's Paprika - Chestnut Variety: Shadow Lutino Legs: Not Shown Jordan is a join bred buck between Shianne Strickland and myself. We got Jordan's mother from Katie Gostomski at the 2019 Lop/Dwarf nationals show already bred to her beautiful Shadow buck We now have his first couple of litters on the nest box. |
Non Lutino Carriers
Simons' The Artful Dodger
Sire: Simons' Gran Slam - Chestnut - BOB 2016 ARBA Convention
Dam: Simons' G-String - Chestnut - BOS 2017 ARBA Convention Variety: Chestnut Legs: 3 We picked up this handsome buck at the 2019 Dwarf/Holland lop Nationals from Cole Simons. He's already produced several promising offspring, including GMtC's Oliver Twist. He has earned several legs showing against some of the top breeders in the country, and placed 2nd Chestnut junior buck at the 2019 Dwarf Nationals. |
GMtC's Oliver Twist
Sire: Simons' The Artful Dodger- Chestnut
Dam: Rosie's Melvira - Chestnut Variety: Chestnut Legs: None Oliver is a handsome, young senior with lots of potential. He has shown but has not earned a leg due to there not being enough animals shown in the variety. He's still developing and will be shown more in the future. |
Coin's Rudy
Sire: Coin's Denali - Black Otter
Dam: Coin's RMD - Black Otter Variety: Black Otter Legs: None Rudy is a powerhouse of a brood buck, with bone to spare and a body that is massive, well fleshed and wide. We bought him after viewing him from the rear while sitting in a sales coop at the 2019 lop/dwarf nationals show. While his head is wimpy compared to the rest of him, his body, type, fur, loin and bone make him a very useful herd buck for our lutino project. |
